GUATEMALA TRIP JANUARY 13 - 26, 2025

with Jody Slocum and Brenda Betz-Stoltz

This year we will be tailoring the trip to address the requests we’ve gotten and to give you a choice. Some of you have asked for a trip more focused on the textiles and crafts of the Maya people, others are more interested in visiting the coffee farms. The coffee farms are a five hour van ride, so this as an option. You are more than welcome to do both!

January 13-16 travel into the mountains of Huehuetenango to visit the members of the coffee cooperative where F2F coffee is grown. We will visit farms, see the process from picking to processing and spend time getting to know the people that grow our coffee, specifically the women coffee farmers.

January 17-26 This trip will start in Antigua, the UNESCO Heritage City, then we will head to the town of Santiago Atitlan, on beautiful Lake Atitlan. We will visit our 17 scholarship students and their families. We will also visit artisans and the local markets. There will be optional activities: bird watching, visiting a local hospital, and a cultural tour. his is an opportunity to see all of F2F’s work in Guatemala. This small group trip will be tailored to individual interests. Limited to 12 people. We recommend refundable or changeable airfare. Experience Guatemala up close and personal! For more information email us at info@farmertofarmerl.org
