Skarleth
In 2004, four-year-old Skarleth, from the village of Santiago Atitlan in Guatemala, dreamed of going to school. Not only did she go to school, she graduated high school and will be in her sixth year of college studying medicine to be a doctor and a surgeon. She is now doing her internships at a hospital in Guatemala City and writing her Thesis. Farmer to Farmer committed to $500 a month for Skarleth until she graduates – 1 more year. Skarleth is grateful to Farmer to Farmer for all the help we have given her through the years, and we couldn’t be prouder of her hard work and persistence.
